To protect against cancer, President Obama’s cancer research team recommends home water filtration!
The cancer research team appointed by President Obama recommends home filtering devices to decrease exposure to cancer-causing agents. In addition, the panel also recommends storing and transporting drinking water in non-plastic containers such as stainless steel bottles.
“For less than a dollar a day, people can follow the recommendation of the experts and parents can assist in the healthy development of their children.” said Carl Witkowski, National Sales Director of Odak."
Mr. Witkowski added that “Odak’s filtration system is extremely effective in reducing water born contaminants. The President’s Cancer Panel reports to President Obama on the development and execution of the National Cancer Program. The panel’s report, titled “Reducing Environmental Cancer Risks: What We Can Do Now” states, “Filtering home tap or well water can decrease exposure to numerous known or suspected carcinogens and endocrine-disrupting chemicals.” The report goes on to highlight the added importance of protecting children. “To the extent possible, parents and child care providers should choose house products that will minimize children’s exposure to toxins.”
In addition to water filtration, the panel also recommends carrying drinking water in stainless steel or glass containers to reduce exposure to chemicals such as BPA that may leach into water from plastics.
